Was a while since I took meteorology (was in flight school in college), but basically, cumulonimbus clouds form in unstable atmospheres usually where a cold front meets a warm front, the more humid warm air rises through the sinking cold air and forms clouds, which are full of static, which releases as lightning, like when you shock yourself on a doorknob, just much larger. And theres all kinds of shit about dewpoint and condensation nuclei and convection and shit. Basically all weather is caused by the uneven heating of the earth by the sun, heating air molecules causes them to vibrate faster, and naturally it wants to seek equilibrium so it flows to low pressure areas creating wind (and because of evaporation) rain, clouds, lightning etc. I dont remember much, I used to smoke a lot of weed.
