I got into Nirvana as an angry teenager with a lot of hate for the world and the situation i was in. The music spoke to me at the time and defined a period of my life, i started to think it might be okay that horrible things happened, that i was fundamentally a broken person who had not figured everything out, but that i would. I started channeling my feelings into my artwork, started getting better and things were looking up.

Then he killed himself.
And although not the catalyst it just coincided with a series of unfortunate events that lead me in a downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse for a few years.

I've grown up now, and i wouldn't say im happy, I'm still angry but i learnt. Things still suck on occasion but i find joy and love. And have my shit together.
