Not for religious reasons. If the woman's health is in danger, or the baby has a genetic defect, then I support it. Maybe even in cases of rape. But the majority of abortion causes are irresponsibility.

I see it as more of a "it is it's own life" more so than "The woman's choice." The baby is it's own entity, so I don't believe another person has the right to be rid of it's life.

My problem with pro-life is that it tries to control what cannot be controlled. Much like "cracking down on drugs."

As someone who had an abortion after a rape, I don't think I would of been able to keep the child full term and give it up. Pregnancy changes your body, I would have been left with the scars for the rest of my life on top of the ones left from my rapist. I aborted first trimester and am glad that I did.

I am pro choice to an extent, if you are sleeping around irresponsibly and get pregnant multiple times only to keep getting abortions, it's subhuman. This shouldn't be permitted.

A rape baby, in early stages should be allowed to be aborted. 1st trimester.

Severely disabled babies, incredibly sickly ones who will be born with major disabilities should also be given the option to be aborted.

I also think that laws should be put in place so that men are allowed to give up all parental rights if they feel they don't want to be parents. They wouldn't have to pay child support but would also have no claim to the child what so ever. Again this wouldn't be something everyone can do, but in special cases and with good reason.
