Should Marijuana be legalized?
Discuss.
>>
>>681330102
No.
But slavery should.
>>
Waiting.
>>
i'm not one of the cool kids so i don't smoke it
>>
>>681330192
Why?
>>
>>681330102

its easy money even after you get it clean so no need
>>
>>681330102
Just decriminalization. Legalization only leads to big name profiteering.
>>
>>681330102
No, then i wont make any more fucking money
>>
>>681330315
Because niggers niggling
>>
>>681330102
Atleast decriminalized
>>
>>681330417
Why is that?
>>
>>681330102
Only for medical use.
Kids who smoke are fucking cancer
>>
>>681330567
He is big pharma or a drug dealer
>>
>>681330102
People think that allowing legal sales of marijuana will ruin the perfect community they live in.

I live in Amsterdam and it's mostly tourists that act like idiots. I've done it maybe 3 times because I don't have the need to do all the time.
>>
>>681330604
Not as big an asshole as your drunk parents are
>>
>>681330102
No. That might lower prices and cause trouble for dealers.
>>
>>681330604
Do you not believe that if it was legalized the faggots would shut up finally?

The fucks who are "lol pack me a bowl brahh" and buy weed cloths just think its cool cause its illegal

As a nurse/prior military/far right I think that it SHOULD be legalized.

It's less harmful than alcohol, tons of military are alcoholics and it fucks their body up later in life.

Wish I knew how to get some weed, my liver would appreciate it.
>>
>>681331284
And he condemns your faggot family
>>
>>681330102
Less harmful and less addictive than alcohol? Logic dictates it be under similar legislation to alcohol
>>
>>681330888
At least people who need it to cure diseases wouldn't get in troubles
Also check them
>>
>>681331435
Where do you live? You can buy it on the internet thru some markets on tor
>>
i believe all drugs should be legalized as long as you do it in private or designated areas (kinda like bars + alcohol) and dont harm any others while doing so. who am i to tell someone what they can or can not do?
>>
>>681330102
Yes.

No.

Already is! And things are gravy.
>>
From Colorado, ever since it was made legal it has brought in tons of money through sales tax.
>>
>>681331659
all drugs would be legal if people could be trusted with them. but people are dumb as shit, and they cannot be trusted with them.
>>
i'm fine with it being legalised for recreational use provided it gets popular backing, but "medicinal" marijuana is on par with homeopathy
>>
State of Oregon collected $7 million in taxes for just the first two months of the year... Shattering the states estimates of 2-3 million for the whole year! You know... For the kids
>>
>>681331655
DC area. Which is pathetic considering I could use this website http://www.tryhighspeed.com and order some when I go to dc.

Yeah, I think I'll do it, hope I won't get caught with it when I get on the metro
>>
>>681331928
People cant be trusted driving cars aswell, criminalize cars?
>>
>inhaling the leafy jew
>>
does anyone here live in colorado?
if so how is life over there
>>
>>681332273
Pretty much the same ever since it was legalized. Brought in $70 million in tax revenue over the $42 million in alcohol sales last year.
>>
Smokers in this thread, does any of you been addicted to other drugs?
I hate people who claim they feel bad like they have hardcore withdrawal symptoms when their bag is empty
>>
>>681332673

You ever suck dick for some weed?
>>
>>681332887
No why would i?
>>
>>681332595
well then lets start legalizing
>>
>>681332673
not addicted to anything including alcohol/cigarrettes never craved for a drug either
>>
>>681332120
Just make sure they "gift it" to you in 1gram baggies.
>>
>>681330102
No. There's enough autism out there, no need to add tards to the mix.
>>
>>681333210
Not even pussy?
>>

>thinks he isn't addicted
kek
>>
>>681332273
Fan fucking tastic.

The only problem right now is employers are still allowed to fire you for smoking because it's still illegal federally
>>
No because it's illegal
>>
>>681333361
thats a different kind of drug!

>>
>>681333464
My supervisor stated to us that it was cool so long as it wasn't 8 hours prior to a shift.
>>
>>681333464
In other words yes it should be legalized nationally. I don't want to lose my job for complying with state law.

It's less harmful than alcohol, and that's a fact.

Right now the main crime risk is robbing dispensaries, because it's an all cash business. Legalize and that problem goes away
>>
>>681332009
Its a good pain killer for Arthritis
>>
>>681333369
thats like saying going on 4chan automatically makes you a virgin
>>
>>681333670
Yeah, but if he gave you a piss test and fired you for testing positive because you smoked on your weekend two weeks ago... there's nothing you can do about it no matter what he says.
>>
>>681333670
Lucky you. My employer decided to be a drug free workplace a year after it was legal. Claim it's because we are a federal contractor

legalize gateway drug?

nope nope nope
>>
>>681333776
One of my coworkers works part time at the dispensaries down in denver as armed security, he makes around $175-$200 a shift then throws about half of it back at the dispensaries when he's off the clock.
>>
>>681333862
it does though
>>
Yes. No descussion needed
>>
>>681330102
Would you rather smoke hash or weed ?
What's better in your opinion ?
>>
>>681334043
if alcohol was banned that would be the gateway drug
>>
>>681334043
>gateway drug
Alcohol is more a gateway drug than pot is
>>
>>681330102
I believe it should

I mean i know this comparison has been made alot

i mean im pretty sure ive seen more damage caused drunk drivers/people

then i have seen stoners do

Plus not everyone that smokes weed is a (stoner)

some people just like it and thats fine to.

rather see it get taxed then the underground market

but then again as a small time outdoor grower, ide also prefer decriminalization, its a weird subject

Anything you can do with petroleum you can do with hemp or cannabis. Anything you can do with cotton or other textiles can be done with hemp. This is why it will never be completely legal. To many big billionaire hotshots stand to lose to much money. They've rigged the system to their advantage and dont like us uppity peons getting ideas that could affect their cash flow amd profits.
>>
I think all drugs should be legalized, and make rehab centers instead of prisons.
>>
>>681334136
Hashish aslong Its fine hashish
>>
yeah sure , if people can make babies without any prescription they sure as hell can smoke weed without being arrested
>>
>>681334257
Really? I can power my house and car off of hemp oil?
>>
>>681334326
This
>>
Marijuana laws are only to protect corporate profits. It will eventually be legal every where. People are finally waking up, thanks Internet!
It's shocking how many people believe that they need other people to tell them what to do.
>>
>>681334257
>implying that's the reason for pushing legalization
>>
>>681334416
yes
>>
>>681334416
Yup. Makes great biodiesel.
>>
>>681334517
Really? How much oil would it take? Is it efficient
>>
>>681334567
So id have to buy a new car and system to run my house, seems like that would be better for the money hoarders
>>
>>681334611
any engine that runs on lpg can run on biogas. And yes it's effecient , but the problem is that al our engines and cars and what not are build for oil and fluids.
>>
>>681330888
trips of truth
i smoke once or twice a day to relax but i hate those fake rasta faggots who are defined by the fact that they smoke
i dont care if its legal or not and even if it was id still do it along with other substances
my illicit drug use is a side effect of my personality and not the controlling factor
>>
>>681334416
You cannot take oil out of the plant and just power your house with it. It's gotta be processed and turned into biodiesel.
>>
>>681334766
The conversion process really isnt that difficult. Farmers been converting their equipment to run on natural gas for ages.
>>
>>681334766
So itd cost money to replace them? Why arent that pushing this, it seems it woukd make them money
>>
>>681330888
this
>>
>>681334479
Get a load of this faggot. If you just want to get high without going to jail, just fucking say it. Don't give me bullshit marijuana medical "facts" like that it's better than antibiotics for fighting infection. Faggot.
>>
>>681334983
See
>>681334257
>>
In my opinion it should. Its better than Alcohol in my opinion.
>>
No. I've seen too many people become practically retarded from that shit. Outlaw it.
>>
>>681334947
yeah i kinda a agree with you but. But the oil industrie is a billion dollar thing that wont let itself be pushed aside by something like biogas. Especially in the middle east.
>>
>>681335036
But it is.

not same anon but ide say for sleep anxiety eating disorders some minor pains, headaches etc, i feel are legitamate medical benefits, faggot
>>
>>681335162
Which is why it will never really be completely legal for industrial uses.
>>
>>681335095
That guy said it would lose them money, it wouldnt. They own the car manufacturers and other equipment manufacturers, also they could buy more land and grow the product. The idea that it is all about money is retarded because they would make so much more if it was legal
>>
>>681332009
This.

Fact: Nearly all of the medical claims are over-hyped bullshit pushed by organizations whose real agenda is promoting recreational use but have been cloaking it with medical use for decades.

There are a couple of extremely rare neurological disorders marijuana can help with, but it needs a lot more study, and we've already figured out how to grow plants that have the chemicals responsible in them but don't get you high.

Responsible consenting adults should be able to do whatever the fuck they want, and that's all anyone should ever have to argue. All this medical garbage is offensive to an intelligent person.

I'm high right now btw.
>>
>>681334416
You can, but nobody would ever want to given how cheap petroleum is right now.
>>
>>681335145
People are practically retarded on their own. It's not the weed's fault
>>
>>681335269
You gotta consider the cost of restructuring and retooling your industrial base to be able to change over to that new product. They already have the structure and the tools in place to deal with petroleum-based cars Automobiles and generators. Just the capital investment alone to retool all their factories and production lines to produce hemp based Automobiles and generators is cost-prohibitive.
>>
>>681335506
Exactly my point. Genius above thinks it is because of money, but if the industrialists really wanted to make fat stacks they would convert everything to biodiesel. So much money in that
>>
>>681335339

That's all good and fine but medical use has been the inroad in states where it has been decriminalized. Just saying "Hey I wanna get high and shit" isn't going to accomplish the goal of legalization.
>>
>>681335584
Nonsense. I know people like to think businesses dont think ahead but they do. They would realize in the long run they would make stacks of cash. Also biodesel is notoriously dirty, they would make profit off of replacement parts alone
>>
>>681335725
It's funny you should say that because I live in a state where we did exactly that.
>>
>>681335339
But it does have legitimate medical uses. I suffer from chronic back pain (degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis) and it does wonder for the pain.

Last year I quit taking Paxil cold turkey and it fucked me up. The only thing that stabilized me for a week was my trusty vape pen.

There's even a lid here in CO that was having uncontrollable siezures, and they gave it CBD oil and magically the siezures stopped.

You can't tell me it has no medical use.
>>
>>681335725
well i mean tylenol and advil, sleeping meds, people with eating disorders, these fileds of the medical industry would get hit the absolute hardest, still big money in it,

alot of it is textiles as well, we can do alot with hemp

i persoanlly dont believe alot of these insane medical claims, but i even admit

its good for some things not just using it for recreational use.

Im a outdoor grower though so idc if its legalized, prefer decriminalization
>>
>>681330418
I would take you as a slave and you would be trimming all my plants
>>
>>681335900
Do you own or operate a manufacturing business? Id bet not. Those "stacks of cash" you alluded to wont even begin to cover the costs of retooling production facilities for at least 5-7 years. I've ran these numbers. Short term loss to gain long term profits is not a scenario these guys are willing to tolerate.
>>
>>681335584
Bio-diesel has more fundamental problems.

There isn't enough land or water for growing plants to be able to satisfy our energy dependency and still feed mostly everyone.

There is a ways to go before it's a viable replacement for petroleum.
