The problem facing the GOP right now is that they need to choose how they want to lose and its a shitty situation for them to be in. Its been shown for awhile now we have more liberals then conservatives which means that they need high turnouts from their people and either low turnouts from liberals, a candidate that can get people to vote against their party, or someone who can pull a lot of the independent voters.

Unfortunately for the GOP the situation they are in is they have to decide to alienate their own people in an effort to get those "swing" voters, or simply hope to god liberals don't vote. What I mean is they either need to give the nomination to Kaisch (who based on votes doesn't deserve it - IE: alienate their people) or Trump (who will nearly assure a high liberal turnout due to how polarizing he has been up to this point).

The reality as a registered democrat, Kasich, Paul and O'Malley were the only three people i've liked in this election. Kasich is the only one left and if he gets the nomination I would easily pick him over Hilary or Bernie. But at the same time, I would vote against Trump if the election was today. I think many people feel like this.

It was the same situation in 2008, Hilary lead most of the way over Obama because of superdelegates and once He began to win the election pulls the super delegates moves to him.

Right now, without the super delegates she is ahead 1452 to 1199, its hardly a lead that can't be broken, but in the next few states Bernie is going to lose them, that is why he himself said they will "hang on until California" as that is more or less make or break.

There is another 300 delegates on the table today and if sanders won most of them it would close the gap some, but its already projected he is polling behind in both states.
