I cant speak for NerdWallet's credibility, but I can say that the graph is 100% accurate if you don't include France and the Netherlands. That doesn't mean the existing numbers are wrong, but it has been shown in the documentary "Sick Around the World"
(awesome work btw, highly reccomended watch if you ever want to debate someone on the medical system with a larger starting knowledge base) that no one goes bankrupt due to medical bills in Britain, Japan, Germany, Canada and Switzerland. Also more asian countries could be up there.
