>Price on Request
AKA if you have to ask you can't afford it.
'eh
I wish this stomach pain would go away...
I feel like I have some large health problem approaching.
>>681088449
Exactly
All the good shit is POR. F1 cars, GT40s, La Ferrari, 918 Spyder.
The one Mclaren F1 they have is POR. Kinda makes me wonder if they have any of the Le Mans prototype cars or something like the G57
>>681088196
why would you want an F1 car when you could get an old Group B rally car?
http://gtspirit.com/2012/07/28/for-sale-martini-racing-lancia-delta-s4-group-b/
>>681088860
Besides the stomach pan, what else has been going on?
>>681088982
>Delta
Dude they have the Stratos for sale, probably the best looking Group B car ever
>>681088898
I wonder what you have to do to be able to make a request. I feel like they wouldn't just tell anyone.
>>681088860
weren't you sick awhile ago too with something? What are they feeding you over there?
>>681089131
>stratos
those are fucking cool too. Man that was a car that was ahead of it's time.
Even though Lancia didn't really make the cars, I still love em.
>>681089137
No idea what you would need to request a price. I would think (or hope) that they would be willing to induldge plebeians like us.
yay thread
>>681089131
Occasional dull chest pains is the other big one.
>>681089148
That was weird. Still don't know what gave me that.
But no, the food here is atrocious.
>>681089392
True. Test driving it would be another story.
>>681089417
College food usually is. Hope you start feeling better.
It's almost break for you soon, isn't it? Maybe then you can get a decent meal into your system.
>>681089787
Thanks. ~6 more weeks then I'm actually done with school possibly forever.
Hoping if I get a decent job I can subscribe to one of those healthy mail-order meal things.
>>681089412
>>681089417
if it makes you feel any better about the risks, extreme gas can cause chest pains, wouldn't be associated with larger problems, and fits the idea of the food sucking
>>681089370
I know man, the Stratos Zero was some other world shit
>>681089417
Huh. I'm not a doctor but that doesn't sound good.
I know going to the doctor sucks but maybe you could drop by and see what they have to say. Maybe it's just some bad heartburn or something.
>>681089618
"Yes we'll need to verify that you have at least eight figures before the decimal in your bank account sir" as he adjusts his monocle and applies more mustache wax
Le Mans GT F430
https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/ferrari/430-scuderia/2008/329160
I would really like to have one of the Le Mans GT 458s
>>681088860
I had the stomach flu the other day, I hope to god that's not what you have now.
>>681090459
Arty! I didn't even see you there. How you been, aside from the stomach bug.
>>681090192
>>681090192
The stomach pains definitely seem to match that, so hopefully that's all.
>>681090241
Ya, wish it was easier to go. My physician is back at home and he requires like at least a month notice for appointments..
Indubitably.
>>681090459
I don't think that's it, but thanks for the concern.
>>681090635
Ayy chuvak! Besides that pretty good. I just bought a sick knife and a really cool graphics tablet, so I'm waiting for fedex to hurry up and ship my stuff already!
How about you?
Anyone can make a 6-figure salary.
Just gotta put in some leading zeros.
>>681090976
Noice, very noice. I'm the same as I always am, nothing special to mention. Glad to hear you're well though.
>>681090745
Well shit man. Good luck with that.
If only we lived in a socialist country, it would be much easier to see someone, for better or worse.
>>681090745
Man that sucks. I don't know how long I typically need to schedule out, usually it's just a week or two
>>681091036
Something something scientific notation
>>681090647
>>681090745
I get that a couple times a year probably, pain lasts for a few hours, not sure what exactly causes in particular, but it goes away when the digestive track is cleared out. Had medical oriented relatives tell me it was gas but I never got more detail than that. That's about as much as I can tell you

I always think it's really cool when a company will give a retiring factory driver, racer or tester the car they competed in
I think this means that I should start to race
>>681091137
Awesome, good to hear you're well then.
>>681091766
>snowboard
REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>681091152
Thank ya.
It's pretty aggravating.
>>681091196
Yes, I make 6,254,000e-3
>>681091345
Mhm. I think it's actually considered heartburn but I have no clue.
>>681091345
>>681091903
heart burn is a noticeably different thing
>>681091889
:)
>>681092158
Maybe acid reflux then.
idk
>>681091903
Let's make it rain
>>681092158
>>681092298
isn't that just fancy heart burn?
>>681092300
>rain
Reminds me that I need to poke the artist tomorrow to make sure we're set for Tue.
I realized she said "due by the 22nd" but she meant *submissions* not completions.
But she said she'd bump us to the top if need be, just need to remind her.
>>681092497
Beats me.
I think that I need to make an excel file with all the cars I want and their prices
>>681092497
It's sort of the same thing but not exactly like heartburn.
>>681092613
Ah gotcha. I saw that she had posted some other submissions earlier so hopefully everything will be on time. And it's awesome of her to bump us in her queue for this.
Thank you for taking care of it too, I know this is going to be awesome
>>681092943
Very nice of her ya.
Especially when artists like Peri just flat out ignored my note...
Evening guys
>>681093230
She never even said anything back?
So much for professionalism or at least common courtesy. I guess that's just another artist to potentially avoid
>>681093624
I like this one she did for me, but she's sort of in hot water now.
I just don't understand how artists can both simultaneously act like they're being persecuted and yet make terrible business choices.
I wanna be inside a shark grills belly
>>681094006
>September 30th, 2013
Wow...
>>681094006
What is she in hot water for?
It's a fine line I think. I understand that its definitely a two way street but if you refuse business for non professional reasons you have no right to complain about poor little old me is having a hard time making ends meet.
And I certainly know that it isn't a popular opinion, but if that's the case, maybe you should get a regular job. Doesn't need to be full time or even on a regular schedule.
>>681094006
Artists aren't generally known for their business sense, hence their being artists. But it's not right you're getting the short end.
>>681094438
Apparently the artist theblackrook saw she was having trouble financially and commissioned her for several grand to draw a comic I think. Then claimed she abandoned the project even though she didn't. At least that's my understanding.
Very true. They always say stuff like "Art is a luxury item, so I can charge higher prices" which is absolutely true. But then at the same time you have to realize luxury items aren't always in high demand...
>>681094699
Oh boy, that's nowhere near the worst things artists have done to me.
Can I fishtits, or is that illegal here?
Oh ya, I forgot to post this.
>>681095443
That's really cool. You make it yourself?
>>681095443
fucking boss!
>>681095532
Oh, absolutely not. That's way above me, heh.
I commissioned it for pickup at BLFC.
>>681095108
Huh I had no idea she was commissioned to do a comic. I can't really comment or throw in some words of wisdom but for her own sake I hope she didn't abandon the project.
Luxury items are very rarely in demand, that's basic micro economics. I know there are some very good artists on FA that I follow who have a part time job simply because they know art can't sustain them and/or their family. It's unfortunate but that's the risk you put yourself at as an artist
>>681095443
Duuuuuuuude I can't wait to see that
>>681092497
>>681094006
aren't they normally ideologically opposed to anything that uses the term "business"
Pininfarina, the same company who has designed Ferrari's cars for decades also designed the coke freestyle machine
>>681095868
Exactly. Same reason people don't often get Philosophy degrees even though it's interesting.
>>681096002
Probably so they can absolve themselves of having to act like one.
>>681096151
Going places.
>>681096002
>>681096151
>coke free style machine
is this that tall box soda fountain with the touch screens and the flavor syrup add ons? or are we talking about cocaine
>>681096151
I can see it.
>>681096281
Maybe I should work for them.
I will have a degree in design
>>681096452
Yes
And it's really late for me so I need to go to bed. Night guys
>>681096526
Night man, surprised you lasted this long.
Have a good week.
>>681095702
It's still awesome, looks great.
>>681096526
Night man, sleep well.
>>681096452

I'm an avid reader and this series had the best ending I've ever read.
I'm guessing you have read the 4th book?
