I am an atheist. And before any of you christfags attack me, let me explain my story and why I lost my faith in God, and now have bad feelings towards Christians.
I wanted to hero a long time ago. I was struggling with my identity. Something just didn't feel right, ya know? Sometimes I would wear a turtle neck sweater, and pop my head in and out of it. I'd carry a cabbage around and nip on the leaves. I just knew something about me wasn't like the other humans. I could feel it. Then it happened. One night as I was lying in my bed, I got this strange sensation on my back, like something big and heavy was attached to it. But there was nothing. I went on Tumblr and I learned about otherkin. That was when I realized I was a turtlekin.
"Why did God do this to me?" I remember asking myself that night, "Why would he give me the soul of a turtle, but the body of a man?"
I felt like I had to hide my true identity. But it was too hard hard. "Maybe my family will accept me," I thought. When I came out and told my family, who were all privileged Christians, they rejected me. They told me I was just being delusional and retarded. I retorted by telling them that they were transspeciesphobic and they kicked me out of the house. They told me to get right with God. I was only 16, mind you. I decided to sunbathe in my turtle form, it always helped me calm down.
As I lied there, watching humans zoom by in their cars, I realized that God didn't make me like this. God didn't do anything to me because God is a fable. And even if he was real, why would I love someone who put me in a human body? Isn't that hell enough? I ran away and eventually stumbled across the church of atheism. I went inside and a man in a beautifully designed fedora approached me. He began to enlighten me, and from then on, I became a follower. Not a follower of God, but a follower of facts and science. I haven't spoken to my family since, and I have no regrets.
