When I was in my late teens I met a girl who became my fiancee and eventually broke my heart. At the time I hated her but eventually, as I watched other relationships crumble around me, I started to wonder if it wasn't just her fault.

I guess I fit into the MGTOW in the traditional meaning. I'm not salty or anything. I just never saw the point to any of the relationships I was offered. I like my freedom of not having to answer to anyone. I've been offered sex several times, but I know what the person wanted, a relationship. Idk I sometimes view this as doing myself a disservice. I could be poking my head out there and testing the waters deciding what floats my boat, but I just look at someone I know and think I'm better off on my own. I have no idea what they see in me. I don't hold myself in particularly high regards I used to and somewhat still deal with depression but I can manage it. That may be a part of it I'm not sure. Again I'm not salty but I just see most of this as unnecessary.
