Probably. Looks like a nice quartz geode.
Its a geode. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geode
A used maxi pad.

I guess he knew that, since his filename is geode. Maybe he was hoping it was a dragon egg.
>>680397008
It looks like it could be a quartz geode. By it's look it could have been formed during the piazencian. The fact that you found it in Utah reinforces my hunch.
>>680397008
fossilized shit.
>>680397008
geode.

Citrine possibly, often comes mixed with quartz or amethyst. Not sure what all you guys have over there, but those are pretty common in the US. There is even yellow flouride, but that's a bit rare and the crystals will look a bit different. Nice rock!
>>680397008
it is the product of someone making a mistake while growing amazing crystals.
Said in another way, it is an amazing crystal gone bad.
>>680399477
i didnt know whether or not it was citrine or something else, just stained with iron. its not currently in my possession so i cant go to a rock place and get it checked out
>>680397230
jesus christ Marie
>>680397008
Citrine
>>680397008
rose quartz
you're welcome
>>680399981
I clean a lot of my rocks with peroxide and a toothbrush. We have a bunch of red clay here and a lot of times it'll fizz out some of the imperfections. Just test it on a small chip first, some minerals will react with it and will damage your crystals
>>680397008
toasted english muffin with apricot jams on.
>>680400315
nuggah thats not rose quartz
>>680400597
sounds like a good idea as soon as i can get it back from my girlfriends house. i thought about trying to clean it before but i like the color of it. ill have to try it on just a small bit
It's a Quartz geode redish for some superficial percolation...or maybe it's structural, from this photo I can't really see
>>680398033
Are you some dirty Targaryen?
>>680400966
i dont have any more pictures and i dont have it right now, but all of the other rocks i found in the same place were all clear or white crystals. that was a full geode that i broke open
>>680399981
There have been many times that I thought I had just dirt and it ended up being something amazing. We have this black thing, the size of a sandwich, we thought it was coal or a clump of mica, but in between it has a half inch layer of quartz and gem quality emeralds. Also have a rutilated tourmaline, the size of someones fist, that was nearly thrown out before we scrubbed it a bit
>>680397008
Looks like someone cut open the end of a fleshlight that hasn't been cleaned since first use
It's bread and marmalade.

>>680401353
got any pictures?
>>680397008
those are biscuits with jelly on them
>>680397008
Looks like Citrene, a type of quartz contaminated with iron.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quartz#Citrine
>>680402456
confirmed for prehistoric jelly biscuits
OP, that belongs in a museum!
>>680402841
*Citrine
The prismatic habit and color variation makes me almost certain that it is quartz. Quartz geodes usually have that appearance
>>680397800
Eat some OP.
>>680397800
Checked.
>>680397008
Dubs say take a bite, op.
< 14 > I bet /b/ is going to enjoy this new leak. She cheated on me and thus I will be dumping all her vids https://wgg.co/Qj6zE Few minutes and it will be removed :)
no one has said bismuth yet.
im disappointed in all of you
>>680397008
could be a topaz geode.
Im absolutely in love with my boyfriend but i want to have sex with someone else because he's my first for everything and i want to try something new
>>680397008
Looks like citruline
I got really similar geodes near Goblin Valley. nice find
>>680404750
thats exactly where i found this. any ideas on what it might be worth? theres no way im selling it but im curious
pic is before i broke it open
>>680397008
looks kinda like Sylvite, look it up on google images to compare
Thats moon dust...I have to smoke it just to feel normal
>>680405041
probably under $25, depending on who you're selling it to. amateurs would pay more
I've never tried to sell them. But they make great gifts. You might be able to make some cash off of it at a shop in Moab. I don't know . . .
>>680403658
Eww fucking disgusting!
>>680405425
cool, thanks for the info
another rock i found near escelante

My friend Becky died this way!!!
>>680406603

>>680406982
*found, jesus christ
>>680399664
This works, I make 20K a day working at home doing this
>>680406982
looks like either quartz or calcite. does it feel really smooth and almost plastic like?
