Sometimes, I think about marriage tbh. I'm 27, and I'm seeing people I went to high and middle school with getting married, having kids, starting families, etc. It seems appealing from afar, but then I think about all the uranium-enriched bullshit men have to put up with in a marriage: children who don't listen (and are expensive to take care of), the fear of a disloyal wife, crippling debt, etc. Then I look at myself, and apart from almost $40K in student loan debt, I have none of those things.
It's a lonely experience, but considering the alternative, it's a preferred one.

I didnt have the worst or best childhood growing up. This is not a feel sorry for myself rant, but I have seen men who came before me this this feeling of fulfillment in life, and I see them try to relive their youth with kids and a spouse, only to total destroy everything in the process.

I want to try and regain something I feel I have missed out on at this point in my life. I may never find it, and I might regret not having family especially when Im towards the end of my life, but I am choosing this path, and will make the best out of it I can.
