im not a religious man myself but i have worked with volunteer orgs to help people in third world countries and especially in Calgary after the flash floods. they were good people who gave what they could and more to help others. if you fool yourself into thinking a world without religion would be a perfect paradise without war and great scientific advances then you are chasing your own "fairytale". truth is there is good and bad with in all demographics, people will always be manipulated one way or another as long as they feel strongly about something be it religion, politics, race, culture, even scientific beliefs differing in opinion on controversial theories. the mass exist to be manipulated and controlled. the vast majority of us are not great thinkers or leaders, we are followers and drones who will always need guidance so our societies can prospers. you will never be free because you wouldnt know how to live without guidance. you take the time to express your disdain for religion then you are in a way still letting control your life. youre not contributing to science or the betterment of society, youre not being productive in anyway your just masturbating in public and pinching your nipples everytime someone pays attention to you. as i am right.
