Personally, I admire and respect Felipe Calderon, our "guerra contra el narco" ex-president, because even if misguided, he had the balls to do what was necessary. The problem is that many times, people don't want to make sacrifices in the present to have a better future, they all want to be safe, cozy and calm and free of any discomfort, but that just leads to stagnation and weakness. If Trump wins, it gives me hope that it will set a precedent, and sometime, maybe when my grand-grandchildren have kids, they will vote for somebody who is not a lazy, good for nothing career politician that never did actual work any day in his life and, perhaps then, my country will begin to grow.
