火垂るの墓Grave of the Fireflies. Most I've cried to.

When I was a kid, there was a movie with a lion cub that died and I cried in the movie theatre. That was the first time.

Cried when I watched the 9-11 movie when I think I was 10 or so.

And that is it. I don't watch many movies, so I'm probably missing some tear jerkers here and there.

I'm not sure how many people are on the same boat, but Schindler's List. I held my shit in the whole movie. Once the credits started rolling, the tears were flowing and wouldn't stop. I was watching it with two of my friends. It was silent in the living room for what felt like ages. Nobody wanted to to start talking with their chokey ass voices. I know I didn't. I knew if I said anything, I would sound like a little an emotional bitch.

It's unfortunate that they kind of ruined that moment with the dumb bullshit in Bender's Big Score. Although Game of Tones is a pretty mediocre episode, the ending where Fry gets to see his mother again through her dream gets to me more than the ending of Jurassic Bark.

This one does it too

I can honestly say never. And I've watched a lot of shit.

Have films got me emotional, made me think or depressed me a bit? Sure. (Mainly those based on irl shit) But I've never actually had leakage directly caused by a movie.

Dunno how people do it tbh. It's not real, you know it's not real. How do you trick your body into getting that reaction? I imagine drinking helps?

It's a family movie about a kitten and a puppy who are friends and get separated from their owners, then later, each other. They journey back home. Sounds like a family flick don't it?

Except it's not lighthearted. They are mostly apart, they meet again by coincidence when they are at least a year older, mated, and have their own kittens/pups. They then stick together and keep searching for home (and the movie ends before they get there).

It takes every urge kids have for familiarity, comfort, and closure, and then says, "nah, fuck those kids... let me tell you how life really works." It's like the drunk uncle of family movies.

And for those that don't have time to spend 90 minutes on a movie before bawling their eyes out, you could try to get a slightly shorter variation with Death Cab for Cutie, and their song "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" ... the one with the rabbits, not the redone version. You won't find it on Ytub, you can on Vimeo, though.

I didn't fund it and I loved it. It was stupid, and the gore was so far over the top is was funny, it wasn't meant to be a serious movie, and it was never meant to be a hit or a blockbuster, but it will certainly go down as a cult classic.

Amazing grace of bagpipes is auto triggering for me.

Every. Fucking. Time.

Went to a memorial day thing last year, and the were was a group of bag pipers.
The whole time I was thinking
>you mother fuckers...

I was walking and there was a line of flags with names in them, and then a row a boots, and then pictures of dead vets from our area and then BAM amazing grace happened.

I walked with my kid across the street to my car and just laid on the groud crying and my 5 year old just sat next to me patting my back telling me we need to "go somewhere else daddy where theres no bagpipes."

Asian movies get fucked up quick. I end up watching them on international flights when I run out of English flicks that I never cared to pay to see. (Or over the should of the guy in front of me when my movie sucks.) I remember one that starts as a love story where a cop meets an office worker. Then they marry and have a kid. Then he loses his job. Then he develops neural degeneration and is slowly losing his memory. Then she dies. It ends with a video message to his daughter. "You've got to help me remember Mom."
