Also, make sure you turn in all of your work on time. I'd reccomend doing homework from previous class hours during down-time in class, so you have less to do at home. You should also try to finish it as soon as you get home, so you won't have to stay up late finishing work. That way, you wont develop any nasty habits.
Weekend homework should be done on Friday. If it's a big workload, just finish it Saturday. It makes your weekends more enjoyable if you don't have to worry about finishing class work.

OP. Stay in school. High school in terms of grades is not the most important thing, but just try to do well enough to get into an average-good university. I don't know what interests you, but I'd recommend dentistry or medicine. Don't listen to people who tell you to drop out. I dropped out in the 10th grade. Luckily I still managed to go to a CC and transfer to a really good uni but I basically wasted a year doing nothing. I'm 20 now and will be graduating in about 1.5 years.

Try paying attention as soon as you start a unit, get pretty okay grades, girls really don't like retards. Try not to stand out, just go under the radar and you can get away with stuff. Resist the urge to "stand out". Just be yourself. You don't need to make a statement in high school. 99% of the people you go to high school with, you'll never see again (outside of high school reunions), so impressing them doesn't matter. Focus on your studies, a good college is the ultimate goal. That being said, don't focus on studies to the exclusion of everything else. You do need to have friends, but having loads of friends is excessive. One or two good friends is all you need. Hang out once a week or so, chat with them when you're free and done with studying, and you should be fine.

Biggest piece of advice I would give is be yourself, not what you think others want you to be. I was a geek in high school, back when that term was still an insult. Didn't do well in sports, had a temper so was easy for people to pick on me and get me to lash out but for the most part I just did my best to ignore it and just be me. Had few friends but the friends I did have were ones who would actually help out if I was in trouble and that's more important. Neary 20 years after I got out of high school, was contacted out of the blue on Facebook by one of my former tormentors. He apologized for being an ass and told me he always thought I was really strong because I didn't give a fuck what anyone thought of me, I was just being true to myself. Was it stressful at times with the teasing and such? Yeah, it was. But high school is drama more often than not but when you look back on it, you'll wonder what the big deal was.

Summarizing what some of the others have said that I agree with: concentrate on your school work, but don't neglect opportunities to make friends and experiences. Good grades are important but they don't have to be perfect unless you're trying for one of those super expensive, super fancy colleges. Blow off an assignment to go do something cool with friends? Sure. Skip studying for that test just to hang out and play vidya like every other day? Not worth it.

Think about what you might want to do for a job and spend those years finding out about it. Find people who do that kind of work and talk with them. You don't have to make a decision until the end of high school but you should be thinking about it. Military is always a good option, especially Air Force, Navy, or Cost Guard. Do 4 years, learn job skills that will guarantee you can get some sort of decent paying job when you get out (even if you don't like the kind of work), and 4 years of college for free.
