You believe in and benefit from science just as much as I do and all atheists are really telling you is that you don't need much beyond that, just the natural morality you get from being human. Since part of the definition of God is literally, "Something beyond our understanding" its only logical to neither disbelieve or believe. If you can understand it, its not God. If you cannot understand it, than you cannot really have an informed opinion either way. Hence the "Agnostic" claim.

However, Agnostics are really just arguing semantics in an effort to prove themselves superior to both groups. In actually belief is either something you do, or you don't. If you Believe in god, than you are a Theist. If you don't you're an A-Theist. Agnostics are just trying to have the best of both worlds. to say science requires the same sort of faith as religion is... ignorant at best.

and let's get onto theories, shall we? in science a theory means something completely different to what it does colloquially. a theory, again, has been observed, studied etc. and is generally accepted by the scientific community at large to be correct until something comes along that explains the same thing better, and is observable.

science is about the observable, for the most part, religion is about something that cannot be observed.
and the problem, where science and religion clash, is the fact that to say a thing exists you have to prove it exists, otherwise it most likely doesn't. that's what science-based atheism is about. there is no real proof that god exists outside of a collection of books written thousands of years ago, whereas with science is a collection of notes taken from observable facts that can be proven time and time again with experimentation.
