Speaking of dreaming, I had a dream I was in an apocalypse. It was pretty cool, a lot more vivid than my usual dreams. Unfortunately it was cut short by my insomnia. There was even this creepy dark ambient music going on. Was kinda spoopy, but still really cool. I don't often have dreams like that.

Yeah, the creepiest part was that the few people at this gas station were trying to act like it wasn't the end of the fucking world and go about their daily lives. It got me thinking, I wonder if that's what a real apocalypse would be like: everyone just trying to act normal. I now can't help but imagine that's what it would really be like, where everyone's just trying to deny everything because they wouldn't want it to be true.

True. It seemed like more of an economic collapse than a true apocalypse scenario. There weren't zombies or anything, it was just deafening silence and no traffic, and everyone more or less seemed really depressed. It's almost scary now that I look back on it because it almost doesn't seem to far from reality.
