I've heard much more leathery with a bit resistance on it. They were made to be indoor pets. Not meant for outdoors such as gravel, sidewalks, etc.

I've heard 7 to 8 years. Then they will either slowly die or disintegrate (depending if they are feral or not because lack of proper nutrition will cause some kind of cellular destruction)
The only fluffy I've seen die of Old age were "Angel and Brave" from the story "Abandoned Angel" its on the fluffy booru its a bit long though.
