So glad to say, I am nice and sober, and my life is fantastic.

I thought drugs would make me happy, but they destroyed me for years. The drugs perpetuated the cycle of using and self loathing. Only once I was sober did I realize how low I had become.

Haven't done heroin in 4 years, I have a drink occasionally, but I'm so glad to say, I am free of the chains of addiction.

Rehab is awesome. You get a 21 day vacation from every single stress of your life. You get to put it all behind you and get in touch with your true self. Just being removed from your area in general, knowing that you can't say "fuck it" right then, run down the street, and get your dope, is just this HUGE weight off your shoulders.
