It's the principle that of all the things that get players talking about changing the game, the one that had a few raging SJWs pushing it was immediately addressed and changed to their will. Such a small group should not have power over a change in the game knowing millions will probably be sold or maybe less idk but still way more than just 10k, this is what you call democracy and so everyone should have their word but if its a 1 for 10 ratio, then you know who wins.
This petition (if it isn't dismissed) would litterally kill the game itself. Why? because it revolves around guns, what you call an FPS and would probably disappoint many players to the point where they wouldn't even buy it and the game wouldn't even be an FPS.

They are allowed to tell Blizzard what they think of the game, and Blizzard is allowed to give as much credence to their opinion as they want. Maybe they don't really care much about gender issues but they think this opinion represents a significant enough portion of the audience to justify making what is, overall, a really insignificant change.
That's totally fine. I can live without the ass. That's not something that I think is essential to the game, and if its removal makes someone else more comfortable playing the game, that is an acceptable sacrifice to me. Games should make the people who play them happy.

to be honest, i think it was a good decision. Not because I'm an SJW, but because tracer is a very fun, tomboyish type of character who does not exude sexuality in any form, except for that one former pose. taking it out is more akin to the characters style and theme.

for comparison, black widow is a much more sexualized character, and she has almost the exact same butt pose, and they arent removing it from her, because it fits her character and theme.
