I'm a classic rock/blues guy. I personally love the Eric Clapton Signature Fender Strat. Can't get enough of it.

I'd really like to mod it to be like Pete Townshend's. He has the best live tone ever (in my opinion) But I don't have the time or money to do that right now.

A friend of mine plays a Gibson Firebird V. He owns 11 other guitars, but says he'll never play another guitar again. I think he'd sleep with the Firebird if he could... lol

Fender has never let me down. Its easy to pick up, fairly small neck. Floating bridge is kind of a bitch when re-stringing. Go to a store and try them out.
