See, Feminists were originally suffragists and later those who fought for the establishment of equality legislation like the ERA in the 60s. By taking the name of those GOOD people and applying it to themselves erroneously, they assume the mantle of what feminism is for themselves. It's pretty much exactly what the modern subhuman trash in the GOP did to what used to be the respectable conservatives.
Do the feminists who know what feminism truly has become act out like this? Yes. They do so because the self-esteem movement and to a lesser extent the invention of inclusive-based language (euphemisms) has emboldened them to being able to live in a fantasy world where they'll be safe because it's their right to be. This belief structure is then replicated through the Internet and certain toxic college campus environments through Groupthink and echochamber politics. It's basically a man-hating psychosis reinforced through being told by others suffering from the same psychosis that "they're prefectly normal".
