Solar energy sales. The compensation is pretty nice at about $500 per kilowatt for residential and $320 for businesses considering that you usually sell 6-7 kilowatts per residence and 50+ for businesses.

I'm generally of the same mind. Like, I couldn't sell some inane thing like kitchen utensils or fancy soaps but solar energy does have some very pragmatic reasons to buy it (assuming its in an area that gets plenty of sun) which is the reason why I'm even bothering. Besides, in my area virtually all the jobs are stuck in perpetual part-time, $8-$10/hr. mode with no benefits so even if I don't do super well it's not like I'm missing out on much.

True, but people are willing to pay a premium on convenience and I'd say outside the technical limitations on solar power, convenience is why it hasn't gone completely mainstream. It's easy to have a bill centralized with a utility company that has effectively 24/7 tech support in the worst of situations (downed power line, etc.) and general peace of mind in the fire and forget nature of it. But it's catching on more and more, especially with businesses that wanna look "green." Myself? I never had a problem with eeking out extra pay since I've been able to piggyback on past experience and moonlight as a welder and machinist.
>>677330151

It wouldn't be so terrible if I hadn't lost 14 games in a row, 2 of them being at least partly my fault. In other news, I found out that Aurelion Sol's Q overrides Fiora's Parry, which was a pretty interesting situation.
>>677330165
I don't think it's so technically limited unless you mean that it needs a fairly consistent source of sunlight. It's true that it's not the best option everywhere but in places where solar is practical, you can save hundreds every month on your energy bill. You're also still very much connected to the power grid so if something happens to the solar panels, you won't be without electricity but the main point of being connected to the grid is so that the excess power generated by the solar panels is sent back to the grid and you're given a credit for that power and these credits usually get used by you at night. So it's not just a matter of being 'green.' That and you also get about 30% of the solar panel cost subsidized by the government.
>>677331449
but it pleases me to do so
>>677331500
I got nothing there, clint hasn't dealt with that topic in this thread

I figured so too, but that bug cost me my lane.
>>677332510
rather than dc's she has feeders who go 0/7 in laning consistently
>>677332666 (checked)
I'm not sure which is worse, to be honest.
>>677332814
I would rather avoid both
>>677332901
Me too, but that hasn't been an option in a long time.
>>677333017
my condolences
>>677331849
I mean as far as the technical limitations of optimizing power output for real estate they take up and peak efficiency since solar panels are only REALLY doing all they can for a brief period- But that's just the engineering student in me picking nits because I just love nuclear power so fucking much- Though I had a friend who inherited farmland and got a bunch of solar panels set up and was actively making money on the utility company since his footprint was so small.
>>677333104
I will keep playing. Not because I'd want to, but because it's pretty much the only way for me to spend time at the moment.

>>677334280
He was arrested for contacting children to solicit sex. Whether he did it or not I can't comment on, that's up to a jury to decide. But no, he wasn't arrested just for playing Animal Crossing, he was arrested for solicitation of sex from a minor.
>>677333921

>>677334050
True, I try to do that. Which is why I try out new champs most of the time. Performing well myself is a small consolation if the team goes full potato.

>>677333112
Never the less, solar energy does have merit so long as you live in a location good for it and you can save quite a bit of money every month - especially for businesses wanting to be more cash flow efficient.
My overall point is that there are definitely reasonable selling points for it unlike some other things out there so I think I could do pretty well. Even if I only managed to sell solar to one residence a month I'd still be making $36k for the year which is way better than making $10/hr. (or less which is most of the open jobs where I live) even at 40 hours a week.

Was sorta the joke I was getting at, I think. With the Orwellian measures taken with surveillance and habit logging these days I was banking on the humor in it not being far-fetched for the paranoid fear of such a thing to keep a person from playing it. I think.
