Bad effects over time. The main difference between Crohn's and UC is the severity of ulceration. I'm currently at the ileocolic stage, with some ulceration in my stomach. Crohns is a really fucked up disease. I don't have it, but I know a couple of people who do. Get off all those drugs & commit to a new lifestyle. Most people with Crohns have specific triggers, usually sugar, alcohol, & highly processed foods. Cut those out of your diet. Invest in a blender like the ninja. Try an get 80%-85% of your diet from smoothies & soups with the ninja. When you do eat normal food cut everything up in small pieces, eat smaller portions, & don't eat too fast. My one buddy swears by marijuana. If you wanna take drugs in hopes to "be like everyone else" that won't be enough. You have to commit to major lifestyle change, but you can beat it.
