A group of Caucasian women between the ages of 18 and 25 attending a predominantly caucasian Maine college were surveyed to get a better understanding of the prevalence of this societal phenomena. This study suggested that an upwards of 98% of Caucasian females between the ages of 18 and 25 were not opposed to the idea of dating an African American man, of that figure (98%), 62% stated they prefer African American men to their Caucasian counterparts.
