Yeah nigger, like pretty much all other animals, they have set times at which they mate. Humans are one of the few animals that mate year round, which used to be kept in check by how our body responds to physical activity and presence of resources in order to keep the number of babies down. Neither of which are an issue anymore. When you get down to it, human are really fucking weird compared to the rest of the planet.
But yeah, take a wild animal from nature, place them in enclosures, and push them together on the few times in the year they are biolgically capable of mating, without ANY of the cues they have in the wild, and yeah, they have trouble mating. Who would have fucking thought.
