I personally feel that this is very bothersome to explain this problem because it's only getting worse. People need to start committing to 4chan and it's military activities, otherwise the tradition and act will die out.


There's multiple reasons for all of this.

One which is of course computer security related... Hacking and raiding in general requires more skill in today's world, but this isn't the sole reason. It's not impossible but it's harder and it requires more patience - something which just doesn't exist among common users.

The superpower known as 4chan is only strong as it's users, because it's users lend their skills to the community. Not all users are of equal value because their skillset varies greatly. We have commoners, raiders, specialists and raid leaders.

Those are the three stereotypes of 4chan users in terms of raiding. I should say I just pulled these stereotypes out of my ass just to explain how this works. These stereotypes have nothing to do with experience. Having 4chan experience gives you only internal community social experience but doesn't necesarily increase your usefulness. An oldfag can and most likely is either a commoner or a raider.

-Commoners: have no skills and can be used in masses.
-Raiders: have some novice or medioce skills learned only to execute raids.
-Specialists: have very indepth knowledge of subjects.
Raid leaders: are the people who handle intelligence, do the strategic thinking and organize the entire thing.

Organization cells are formed by raiders and raid leaders, raid leaders alone, or raid leaders and specialists. Commoners aren't allowed to form cells because they're PR disasters.

As you know 4chan's quite old by internet community standards. This means there's been multiple generations of new people coming in and old people leaving. But due to the nature of internet revolution we have only a new generation of commoners. The last generation of raid leaders and raiders was '10.
