Pipe has been my goto for a long time. I made a bong out of a Gatorade bottle because I wanted to try it, and because my friend with asthma wanted to try too. Filling the entire bottle with ice and then the water level to just below the hole for the stem worked great. My friend loved it, and I loved the cool feeling of the hits. I recently got in to smoking joints. The few time I tried rolling I was shit at it, but those RAW cones are a godsend. And then in general I'm a big fan of mint, so I have essential mint oil, and sometimes will put a small drop in the bong water or on the filter so that the hit has a minty taste to it.

I really like my bubbler. I was just a pipe/bong guy too, but bubbler are an amazing middle ground.
Smooth water filtered hits, and you can take your time smoking it like a pipe. (whereas bongs tend to fuck you up)

I saved for a few weeks and just bought a Volcano Vape and I love it. The amount of product it takes to get me high is insubstantial compared to other methods.
The only thing I would say against it, it doesn't 'conk you on the head' the way bongs and pipes do, I don't really know why it feels so different but I do notice a distinct difference in the high.
Perhaps I am not using it right just yet, still learning this thing its barely a few days old.

Idk, for a long time I knew that I was shit at rolling, and wasn't able to smoke often enough for me to feel like it was justifiable for me to waste the weed and opportunity I had to smoke with a shitty, shittily-rolled joint. Yes, ash on bottom. DMT is very temperature sensitive, so I would highly recommend a hemp wick (burns at like 400 degrees) as opposed to a lighter (burns at 3000 degrees). The wick gives you a ton of control over the flame, so take your time. The trick is to "vape" the top weed layer and avoid starting a cherry as much as possible (at least until you're a couple tokes in). If you have a clear pipe like I do, it's easier since you can actually see the DMT vapor being produced.
