IMO, no one can beat Manhattan. Part of his "powers" is that he sees past, present and future all at the same time, and while he is slightly autistic about it (knows its happening - doesn't react until it happens), he could theoretically harness that power and know exactly what someone is going to do before they do it. Combine that with invulnerability and powers beyond imagination, I think he could beat just about anyone given the right scenario. Even if it's someone else that's ridiculous strong and invulnerable, ie Superman, all Manhattan really has to do is teleport him to the other side of the universe and boom, fight over.

Being a martial artist and only counting common styles, I'd say Muay Thai is the best since it covers more areas (standing, clinch, can use knees to stuff takedowns) and the worst is judo. Not only because Judo is useless outside the clinch but also for consistency because I've gone against several judo black belts that are pure garbage on the ground after the takedown. Some are good but the quality of judo black belts I've gone against and witnessed is very inconsistent compared to say BJJ where almost all black belts are quality

The answer to this question is so easy. Look at the first dominant champions in the UFC. Most of them were wrestlers or bjj artists.

Fast forward to today. Pretty much every champ has a legit ground game. Werdum/Velasques, Cormier/JJ, Weidman/Rockhold, Robbie/Hendricks/GSP, RDA/Pettis/Nurm, McGregor/Aldo, Cruz/Dilli, Mightymouse

Listing champs and most recent previous champs, you can see everyones ground game is bomb as fuck and probably their first martial art.

The only people who don't fit in their are CMac, Pettis, and maybe Lawler but Pettis is new age, and has slick submissions. Honestly hes so tall and lanky its no surprise its a joke to take him down. As for Lawler the dude has been training MMA all his life so his ground game is pretty good as well.

The inability to keep the fight where you want it is what makes pure grapplers much better than pure strikers. Think JDS vs Cain, think GSP vs Anyone he didn't want to stand with, think the older days when wrestlers like Sherk and Hughes dominated. Think Cormier vs Gus and AJ.

You can't strike from your back. Even if you could you're doing it via BJJ ala Nick Diaz, or Anderson silva elbowing your head from the triangle
