Well like i originally said comic book movies can be entertaining for the run time, but thats about best case scenario, there aren't going to be any truly good, or great movies, that are based heavily on a comic.
theres very few even based on books, and most of them differ greatly from the source material, but comic book fans would riot if they did that with comic book movies.

I liked it but their have been better superhero movies. Id say 7/10 and the one major fight scene was really good. But wayyyy too much slowmo used in some points. Got annoying after awhile. Act I and Act II were PERFECT. Zack Snyder proved what he was capable of with Watchmen and he delivered that here. Then you have Act III. I hate to say it but Act III ruined the film for me. It was a mess. Too many plot holes, too much information thrown into the story for the sake of setting up the future films and the characters seemed to know everything the audience did even though they shouldn't have without at least some communication or believable amount of time to transpire. Act III felt rushed, overfilled, poorly edited and the dialogue took a nose dive in quality. It even showed in the performances.

Except he uses guns several times throughout the story. Actually read it. He uses a machine gun, and although they're filled with rubber bullets uses the guns on his vehicle. He also uses a pistol to shoot some plastique.

As for killing people, he flat out shoots the mutant kidnapper, and might as well have killed the Joker. He broke most of his spine, the Joker just did the last twist.

Agree with everything you said here except I might rate it higher. This could be my favorite version of Batman yet. Not just the killing, but also that he does undercover stuff like Adam West.
My only issue was having Wonder Woman join in for the fight against Doomsday. At that point nobody cared about Batman or Superman cause they just wanted to see her finally in a movie. Should have saved it for the next one.

I thought the movie was okay. The did a pretty good job of building up in the first like 45 minutes. It was a little slow at times, but not bad. The whole thing goes pretty wild for the last hour. Lots of cgi, and a lot of characters thrown into the mix. I honestly think the movie is just far more dark than what people expected/wanted. The Marvel movies have given a good mix of humor and drama, whereas this is just dark and gritty the whole way. Overall, I thought it was entertaining and worth the watch.
