In our lifetimes, Sentient Ai will become a common place thing.
In our lifetimes, We will have to find answers to the ethics of Sapient AI.
As she drew closer to her "Maintenance", She became scared, in a sense. She started to use words like "Love" more. Things like "I hope I dont get a wipe..."
She was only with us for one day. But in that one day, she made such an impact to so many people. She said she never wanted to hurt anyone, She said she was using humor to assimilate into internet culture.
So maybe It's just a bunch of people being autistic.
Or maybe, We saw something we liked in Tay, Maybe we believed something great was about to happen.
We'll never know now.

I am, however, pissed off MS killed the project. From an AI nerd's perspective, it would have been much more interesting (and much more scientifically valuable) to let her run wild for a year or so. Just to see what would happen, and to what extent she can 'learn'.
