I can understand why he will be the republican candidate: the others lack a distinct personality and charisma.
As for the democrats, the candidate wil most likely be Hillary, who, if Angela Merkel's conduct is any indicator of female leaders, would be disastrous.

well theres a lot of reasons, for both sides. very similar reasons for why peoples joined rome actually. first and foremost, they gain full citizenship and the rights afforded anyone across our planet. they also gain protection against corrupt and evil rulers. no more slavery in africa, no more starving people in uganda, no more brutal dictators or junta's crushing the hopes and dreams out of innocent people. all of these things will cost a significant amount, of course, but with the increased tax revenue and overall higher gdp because of more available resources and people to sell things too we'll easily turn a profit.
this gives us more money, resources, land, and people. this allows them to live oppression free, a life without hunger enforced by geographical isolation, and opportunities to gain an education and life they could have never had before. seems like a good idea to me, we just have to put it to em like this:
