Hey, a lot of people don't know the game has changed, and you can buy a sub from the char select screen now, unlike how it's been in the past where no sub = no play.
But your right, you can make that doing no more farming or input than prepping for a raid during tbc-cata. Everything is free or given to you now.

Not him, but heres a few ways.
- Optimized garrisons make 1-2k gold per day per char, so if you have a lot of capped chars thats an ez 80k a week.
- Old raids gets you 10-15k per character + you might get some dank mounts.
- Mythic boosts. If you are not a filthy casual you get 70-100k for your weekly 2 hour HFC clear.

There are many ways, this is mine, it's by no means optimal, but it has perks, takes about 1-2hrs play time per day, plus a Sunday, And i can step away at any time for any reason.
I have a 740+ tank main + 6 lv cap alts, the alts are wearing a Mr.Robot optimized Lfr-world boss set, that takes around 2 weeks of casualing to get.
I have a trading post and barn in every garrison, i spin resources into mastery food when the bonus trader is up, and sell savage bloods.
I clear all the cata raid + naxx on all of them + world boss kazzak every week. Takes about 2hr per week total per toon. I use felmouth food buff, flask (cheap as shit) and rune (From 5man heroic bonus cache bags {bonus 500-600g a pop}) and play as optimally as possible.
I sell full heroic 13/13 hardmode clears for 25k on Sunday, and can sell 8/8 mythic 5 and for 10k for about 1hr10min work for as many buyers as i can be fucked carrying.
I shoot for 125-150k per week.

I have only one max level with barely completed HFC meta, so i cant really do any of that stuff.
The only thing still holding me on this game is achievements (sitting at 2302/2511).
Mostly make all my money from mount runs and occasional garrison/ battle pets.
Btw. do you have any links to some max gold garrison guides? I usually get good gold only from followers, since i have like half of them with the gold perk.

Possibly? You should be able to log into any char lv20 or lower on a un-subbed acc, however there may be restrictions, i'm not sure if it would prevent you from opening a mailbox and collecting the gold.
However if you have a second acc, or a way to signal other players on lv20's, you should find someone willing to gift you time for the gold on your secondary acc. But that takes social skills or inter-guild 'understandings'

Anyway, get the gold perk on all your followers, pick up your herbs and make whatever pot sells for the most (Bonus armor ones tend to be expensive) and use all of your garrison resources on fish in the trading post on days they sell for 4 gr and make 125 stat food.

I humbly disagree, at least in my experience, I'm in maybe the 'casual' range of mythic raiding, say top 500 (Taking into account only 1311 guilds world have a mythic archi kill as of right now, and we have several mounts out) - I also have ties to top 25 guilds, and very few, maybe 1 in 50, in my experience know the chans, or are the edgy kid.
Granted all the streamers (by follower comment) and a larger chunk of the pvp community are dank meme edgelords, but their the i'm pro at 1800 crowd
