The customization was alright for some cars, but almost nonexistant for others. And the A.I./car handling was so sketchy when you got around to the higher levels, it just got ridiculous. I mean, they gave both my '32 Ford and my '65 Mustang 7 damn gears and a crap powerband.
I'd just play the older NFS stuff (Up to Prostreet has some bitching customization, up to Carbon for the street stuff), or something like Midnight Club L.A. for sheer pimpage. Plus, they have motorcycles.

I frequently go from 'happy and content' to 'crushed by unutterable boredom' in a timeframe of under 10 minutes if I'm not fully stimulated by whatever it is I happen to be doing.
