I guess this has sort of already been asked, but what is your personal opinion of the "PowerShift" dual-clutch "semi-automatic" transmissions, as found in Fiestas? As alluded to, there have been a lot of complaints. Some problems may be only apparent, due to naturally different driving feel from more usual automatics with torque converters. But it seems like the concerns extend to reliability and possibly safety too. Yes, it is new tech, and there are software updates, but people should not paying (and risking their safety) to beta-test an unfinished product, and the factory warranty lasts only so long.

Simply put: Would you feel comfortable giving one of these cars to an elderly relative? (Assuming that you don't hate your family.)

It probably is because your seat belts are linked to the pcm through the dashboard module and the head lights are also on that module. One of your bulbs must have blown. You have to replace the bulb by using the dealer only tool, buy a new dash board module, and have the module programmed to your vehicle. That will fix your seat belts and cost you about 700 dollars.
