This game frustrated the fuck out of me when i was a kid. Also I've been trying to figure out a game on DOS where you were these colorful blob things the background was all black and at some point a cat would eat you and the character was like "oh no oh no"...anyone know what i'm talking about?

I couldn't get the hang of it for years, came back to it recent-ish, was still fairly fun.
Its not the best in the world but fuck it, Croc was part of my childhood.
It was the very first game I played in my life, it must have been on an ATARI or Commodore system or something, I can't remember.. it was a game with a baby angel as main character in a jump and run style if I remember right.. anyone know what game that could be??

i really liked gears but tried first saga and it woulda made a good movie but the five minutes of gameplay between 30minuts of cut scenes reallly was a put off. plus the battle system sucked and was so repetitive. like no point in using any magic but heals (attacking did way more) and the attacks got realllly old after a while too i dont maybe its just me but first saga is the only game i ever sold.

yea quite a bit. I think we just need the younger generations (the ones who remember these games) who are going into and gaining experience in the industry to start leading instead of following. You may not make millions off a title but if you create a game company thats founded on good games and experiences than profit i think it would help revitalize the industry.
