He wrote and produced hit after hit and produced three arguably god tier rap albums. 95%+ of all rappers can't even figure out fruity loops let alone compose like Kanye. And Kanye did it all himself, he needed no one to help him. That is extremely rare in the rap industry. Just something to think about. And on top of that his lyrics were somewhat meaningful on the good side of his first decade.
