It's a small lake 30 miles away from Duluth, Minnesota. I lived there from 11/2015 - 3/2016. I had to leave because the house was shit, the internet was 150GB of data a month via satellite, and the location was way to far out of the way. Great lake though! No public lake access so you'd have to own property to get a boat onto the lake.

During the winter when I went Ice Fishing on the lake there were kids there all the time. But obviously not only would they have almost no way of getting to the island once all the ice melts, their parents probably wouldn't let them sleep on the island. Otherwise that's about the idea I have. So not sure how busy the island gets during the summer

I think I shot that with a Nikon kit lens. You need the right exposure/ISO with levels and WB editing in photoshop.
Only had my 12mm f/2 at the time and I couldn't get too close. But American Robins are best. Resaved as PNG and then cropped.
