OP, make sure you didnt connect any new devices. You have to install drivers before adding new shit for certain things.

Also. make sure you didnt unplug shit.

Also try reinstalling entire operating system. if you dont have the CD check if you have a ghost drive partition to reinstall from. if you dont have that you have to buy a CD or find a friend to somehow boot the OS from a USB flash drive somehow. Theres ways but it takes time and patience. Hours as a matter of fact.

Also try ordering a master boot disc from the company if you have a legit PC, they sell them at discount since you already bought the PC from places like dell compaq HP etc, if you built your own PC well... you might have to buy a OS again or cheap from EBAY a master disc to install from

it seems like your hard drive's magnets aren't working right... if you get a large magnet and put it on top of the drive while it's running, it should fix it.

disconnect your main HD, unplug the computer from the main power, press the power button once or twice, plug your HD back in, plug your PC back in and turn it on.

After you clean the dust from the ram chips make sure your fan isnt making wierd noises.

If you disconnected a cable while the power was on, especially harddrive cable there's a possibility you might of cause some eletrical damage to your harddrive by shutting it off. I dont understand it all myself but you should disconnected stuff without powering it down first.

are you sure you connected all cables to their correct positions? another solution is, disconnecting your harddrive and connecting it to another computer. see if you can pick it up as a secondary harddrive when you check in control panel. if you cant access the other harddrive there's a chance its damaged.

also you can try resinstalling the entire OS from scratch see if that helps.

Hard drive problems say there is a prob with the hard drive and it wouldn't or usually doesn't go into bios like that. It says hard drive failure.

Unplug every peripheral device. Mouse, keyboard, everything, any storage devices to see if you can boot regular and troubleshoot from there.

Did you recently install any new hardware? ICQ problems arise sometimes for me due to all the shit I have in it and my mobo blowing. You have two hdds installed. Try unplugging the secondary one and booting with just the primary hooked up.

Unless you scratched deep enough to fuck up a circuit it probably doesn't have substantial damage. Mobos and hardware is usually pretty durable unless you drop your hdd.
