Bic and clones are lightweight, small and fairly durable plus it is still incredibly useful if any single part becomes broken and the fuel doesn't evaporate. A zippo is by far more durable but it is not water proof and the fuel supply wont last nearly as long as a bic which makes the zippo a durable piece of garbage.
