Yep, pretty much the mindset that turns me off to the idea.
But also, drawing is far more frustrating than fun. Trying to imagine the right angle, then putting onto a screen is hard for me. When I think of what to draw, I get a general idea of what I want to draw, but I can't define specific parts. I can imagine the idea of a character with several key parts of the design, but I struggle to put the character in pose.
Proportion, head angle, and feet are the worst to draw. That and I have the worst combination of animu/cartoon face style of drawing characters.
I'd much rather draw like Macha, Ire, or Bane/Trinket.
