Being a music nerd i would have musescore downloaded and about 3gb of musescore transcriptions of pieces that i love to listen to, its not close to mp3 quality, but it takes much less space and it's good for music analysis which will take up loads of time.

I would devote about 20 gb of space to books of any sort about 15 gb of fiction, as its much easier to read it than academic stuff, and 5 gb of academic journals+ educational books in different areas.

I would also download about 1 gb of survival magazines, books etc, all compressed well, to get better chance of surviving in the wilderness after the attack

I would devote 1gb to songs that never get boring, queen, the Beatles etc, all in 128kb quality.

I'm assuming about 2-3gb would be taken up by operating system, speaking of which I would make sure I can open up all of my pdf's with a viewer, read all the ebooks etc.

ok i tried posting a thread similar to this a few weeks ago. i have a small bunker, sleeps like 10 people and we have roughly enough food for a year maybe a little more or less. also a 1000 gal cistern burried. well water access and a hook up to septic.
what i needed help with was this
i was going to set up a media server full of music, porn, and movies. and store a handful of tablets to let people stream what they want.
is there anyway i can do this with a win 7 laptop and android tablets.
i usually hear that plex would fit the bill. but with no internet, i need something that would work grid down.
its not essential that i get this working. we could always just transfer movies to the tablet every few weeks as needed. it would probably save tons of power.

also i have a few raspbis. would one or two be able to stream to several tablets? and be more energy efficient that a headless laptop?

The whole concept is absurd though. You can power a Pi and nothing else. How do you watch anything? Pi connects to an external monitor/TV. Plus, everything you connect to it increases current draw and thus power.
