God by definition is all powerful and all knowing right? If this is true it's a paradox.
If he is all powerful he should be able to creat information he did not know previously. If he does this, he doesn't know everything, therefore not a god because it goes against his basic definition. If he can't create the information he is not all powerful therefore once again, not a god.

This is the best hypothesis (not even close to theory) about an eternal universe without a beginning.

String theory (More like string hypothesis) does the opposite, it says that each universe is limited in its life, but there are nearly infinite universes.

Both of these views hold little to no evidence, but the evidence of a Big Bang does exist.

We have scientific evidence that the universe is expanding from a central point. What existed before the big bang is unknown. Just because it's unknown it doesn't mean that religion needs to be the placeholder there.

I've met one of the bigger archeologist in the sphere, while he was in Sofia(Bulgaria)
He was atheist, but still said that the bible was a great book, not because of its historical value, but because of its power on the human psyche, It can get you through hard times if you look at it from different perspective.
