The gig I worked today was for spring training and the commissioner and his wife were there. We moved their cars up on top next to our podium and while they were having their luncheon or whatever, we went and got taco bell and ate it on the back of their cars because the Infiniti SUV had a bumper we could sit on

I think if you have the drive to go above and beyond, do it. I can understand that they want to do things the easy way (and trust me, I'm like that) but sometimes its okay to have fun with a project and get a better grade on it.

Oblivion is a terrifying thought to me. It causes anxiety. The thought of my self, my memories, my dreams, everything I am suddenly and completely ceasing to be is a horrifying one.
I literally cannot imagine it and trying to just makes me anxious. It sounds self-centered to think of myself as so important but the plain and simple fact is that I exist within the world in my own worldview; if that is gone, everything I am - everything I hold dear and true to - goes with me.
