Again with this question kid? The fuel door was on the car when I bought it. I'm not that fond of it. But, it's not something you can just pick up from autozone. Try it and see for yourself. It came from a high end Mustang parts distributor like American Muscle, Late Model Restoration, and CJ Pony Parts.

if you faggots want to be sanic and must go fast, then get a bike.
>>
>>672570315
Fast bike. Certainly a bike that could out run my Cobra. Most anons that post bikes and say that my Cobra is slow tend to post 250 and 600 bikes that are actually slower than my car.

Anywho, props on having a great bike and I hope it brings you the excitement a bike should bring it's driver.

I will after I build up my Cobra as a race car. I'm leaning towards a cruiser more than a crotchrocket though. Either a V-rod Muscle or a Valkyrie Rune.

These kids don't know what a Terminator is. These were only made for two years and are heavily built track cars. Supercharged, 6-speed, 8.8" IRS, Bilstein shocks and springs, Brembo brakes, and the powerband of a plateau instead of a peak hp range. They really are fast and magnificent cars.

So, if you still don't think they are fast, then enlighten us all what you three (if you aren't samefagging) think is a fast car.

Best part is, i still get 17mpg when im driving it like i stole it :)

These are still fast cars, as they are rally and track cars more than street or drag cars. And they have the same engine as the last gen STi's. You're cute. Currently it's running 15psi and runs mid to high 11's at the moment. And yes, in about a year to a year and a half, I'll do a twin turbo kit for a compound boost setup and looking at peak hp at 1200 hp. But, at the moment my current mod list is;

> Milled block & heads
> Bored over .020
> Diamond 19cc dished pistons
> Metco 2.7" sc pulley
> Steeda 100mm idler pulley
> GMS Street Fighter Coil Pack
> Fabricated O/R H pipe
> Flowmaster Delta 40 catback
> Exedy Stage 3 Clutch
> SR Performance Billet Steel Flywheel
> Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter
> Upgraded Bilstein shocks and springs
> Lowered 1.5" in front and 1" in rear
> Subframe connectors
> Upgraded Brembo ceramic brakes
> w/ drilled and slotted rotors
> UPR Caster Camber plates
> Fluidyne intercooler
> Steeda High Velocity Intake
> Diablo inTune w/ balanced dyno tune

I fuck shorter girls inside it and taller ones have to be content with blowjobs or wait until I get them inside their flats or shag in the garden and wake their neighbors.

it can race circles around your mustang cobra because you anericans dont have very many rally races and I doubt you have entered any. Even if you have- your competition have likely been wankers and toffs who have never adjusted their suspension, never recycled babbit metal and skimmed the dross before pouring it into the journal of a car over 90 years old, have been driving on the wrong side of the road exclusively, welded- heat treated- and annealed a leaf spring, nor understood how to make a turn under power. In short, fuck your mustang cobra! I believe Carrol Shelby would be embarassed to sit in your car and commit suicide soon afterwards just as he did the first time- with a pair of young Dallas Vietnamese transvestites and both snorting inordinate amounts of cocaine and placing it in his bum.

The Yamaha is.
The Kawasaki is.
The Suzuki is.
The Honda is.
Even the Triumph is...

They will all run low 11s all day long with a shitty rider.

And of course that's besides the point, because the real measure of how fast something is doesn't concern a straight line... drag racing is the most boring shit ever. Take it from someone who owns a '69 GTO in the low 9's, who then moved onto racing motorcycles...

Drag racing is fucking infantile.

You didn't lie, but throwing around terms like "heavily built track car" shows a fuck huge lack of awareness. Shocks and brakes and a few choice tweaks to an existing platform do not a track car make. Hell, it's a real fucking misnomer to try and apply the term "track car" to something street driven. REAL purpose built track cars aren't gonna make any concessions for comfort. But this is splitting hairs and more my gripe with the watering down that's gone on with car culture. No, throwing around that shit about the powerband shed a lot of light on your dumbassery. For starters, putting out the idea that a "plateau" powerband is a good thing, or even really exists for that matter since the dynamic nature of an ICE means that getting a near singular power number over a meaningful rev range is near impossible and not terribly desirable. The real cherry comes when you put this forward and then throw out that this is happening in your magic pony instead of having a "peak hp range," which is another fucking mind-boggling idea since an engine is either making peak power or it's not, plain and fucking simple. Moreover, this is all disregarding usable power, where the engine MAKES its power and what the application is, so even if half of what you said was true, it would be so much brochure talking points because you threw out the nebulous term of "track" and left it at that. You are an idiot.

Dude, you think all of them make only one 600cc each? And do you think majority of 600cc bikes made in the last 30 years are all 11-sec at all?

Drag racing is rather exhilarating beyond the 11-sec range. Anyone who says a 9-sec car isn't exciting to drive has never been in a 12-sec car let alone a 9-sec car.

As for myself, I like both drag racing and track racing. And as for motorcycle racing, of course it's fun, but doing that doesn't take away the fun of racing a car. Both are fun. What makes you think otherwise?

Wow, you really do read the brochure! Cast-iron block isn't a talking point, moron, there's nothing special about it and just means that it was made on an assembly line by some nigger in Detroit. The t56 in the Termies aren't race built (that would entail something like straight cut cryo treated gears, dog ringing the blockers or removing the blockers entirely) and the rest of the engine shit is standard stuff for throwing boost at an engine. All that you listed is choice stuff and makes a neat package but it doesn't address your fundamental misunderstanding that I was keying in on. I don't have a problem with your car, it's YOUR dumb ass I have a problem with and this damage control is just pathetic.

Whats the point of driving fast cars if there are speed limits litterally everywhere
>>
>>672582576
The point of a cast iron block and the forged internals is the fact that these engines can hold upwards of 45 psi and withstand upwards of 1200 rwhp.

Don't act like it's something every boosted engine on the street can withstand. The T56 is akin to the Viper's T56 and is made to support all this power. The only weak point is the input shaft.

And you want me to talk powerband significance with you? Most performance engines have a peak hp range that is akin to a mountain climb. Trying to out do the competition. But, the 03/04 Cobra, and long with the SVT GT500's all have peak power more akin to a plateau. This is common terminology with dyno readings. These engines reach their peak hp rather quickly and hold that peak hp throughout the powerband. Rather than dropping off due to running out of breath like a lot of V8 engines that are made for track racing. Like the new Z2/8 for instances.

Having a top end hp actually plateau throughout the powerband is something that is key to track racing. As when you upshift, you still have that too end hp range to fall back upon at lower rpms. The MX5 has been doing this since day one, and when Ford finally decided to make a track oriented car back with the 2000 Cobra R, they designed the powerband to reflect this. Which was carried over for the 2003/2004 Cobra, as a lot of thing were with the two cars.

>can hold upwards of 45 psi

You just keep giving me ammunition, hoss! I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you mean boost and we'll go from there. 45 psi of boost measured where? You do realize pressure is a measure of restriction, right? Just because there's a shitload of boost on the table doesn't mean you're going to make a shitload of power. I could hook a turbo up to an opening the size of a martini straw and make and make a THOUSAND psi at the entrance but that doesn't mean feeding an engine with the other side is going to make a million billion horsepower. In fact, if you're ever keyed in on any serious kind of racing you'll hear some guys going to a manifold with larger runners so that they can DECREASE boost at the port and will make more power this way. And yes, plenty of engines on the street can withstand it. The 4.8 motor in that guy's Silverado you pass on the way to work can withstand it.

But hey, all this benchracing is getting nowhere, since you've obviously got my number, why not post the dyno sheet for your car, since you're obviously so well-versed in swinging the lingo and took close to an hour to look up tangentially related things in a desperate attempt to justify your earlier statement.

> where
45 psi after the supercharger going into the engine. And just because a block can withstand it, doesn't mean the internals can. The pistons, rings, connecting rods, valves, crank. Let me put it to you this way, on the stock engine, stock internals, stock supercharger, stock throttle body, Hellion made a twin turbo kit with two 61mm Turbotronic turbos that at 27 psi fed into the stock supercharger at 8 psi, and compounded the boost to 42.85 psi into that stock 2003 Cobra engine. Putting out 1188 rwhp and 1050 rwtq.

If you don't know what these engines are capable of, then stop talking and do some research. As for my own personal Cobra, I have dyno tuned it with a mild well balanced tune, nothing super aggressive, and I'm keeping it that way until I do the compound boost setup with Precision twin turbos. I personally didn't have them print off a dyno sheet for the simple reason that it's not hard to achieve what I have in these cars. In fact it's rather minor in comparison to most Terminators you'll find on the street. So, there is no point in a dyno sheet to prove minor power mods. Now, when I'm done with my build, then yes I'll get a printout. And keep time slips at tracks.

And until then, I don't need to prove minor crap that's been done. It's not much above asking a dyno sheet of a stock 03/04 Cobra. I've literally put out a little over 120 rwhp from stock. That's not an impressive feat.
