THIS shit was totally cash, and, despite me liking Legos, I can say that Rasti kicked both Lego and Playmobil asses. I mean, there were fucking boxes with stuff like threads, chains, gears, motors, slots for bateries, remote controls and all this cool shit.

Yeah, the NES was pretty big in the USA, but here in Brazil SEGA used to rule, mainly because it had an official representative, while Nintendon't.
What happened was that the NES was a mess around here. There existed tons of pirated systems (like the Dynavision and the Phantom System), and also the cartridges existed in both japanese and american versions around here, and they weren't compatible with each other (the pins were different, both in position and quantity).
There were stuff like adapters and even console versions with both entrances, but children are too dumb and the parents can't be bothered, so most people had a Master System.

Yeah, it was the PAL version here too. But mine was the first version, while yours was the second. It had 3 versions in total, IIRC, plus one "portable" version (with a small LCD display, but it still was huge as fuck).
The only difference between the versions were the design and the built in games. Mine had a stupid labyrinth game and another one that I can't remember (it probably sucked), and the third version had Sonic.
It had a few very good games, like Psycho Fox and The Lucky Dime Capper.
