What do you think about Neptune?

Its a Jupiter wannabe. It even copied by having a Great Dark Spot. Pleb-tier planet.
That's the saddest looking planet ever

Im not trying to shitpost. But in all seriousness. How can their be a God if all the planets have no life. Cannot sustain life. Have had no life ever on them? It leads me to conclude their is no God. What creator creates dead stars and flying rocks thats destroy planets?
>>670401835
You know, I think you're right. I grabbed the first file in my Saturn folder. It's obviously misfiled because of the giant red spot. Good Catch!

They call them false color images for a reason you know. A b/w image sensor allowed for greater sensitivity, a lower weight cost and better reliability. The image sensor can still tell what wavelength of light it's received and can therefore determine what color our eyes would see.
Also Neptune is blue, you can see it through a telescope.
In all of my folders, I contain a sub folder at the top of the page called ' Oops misfiled'
This was in it
>>670404410
Hate to break your bubble man, but judging by the roundness of the half moon, its relatively massive, meaning that the sheer force of rock is almost nothing compared to the gravitational forces, meaning it wouldn't just form a half dome, and in fact it would form a more rounded (altho quite possibly irregular) shape.
>>670397861

The astronauts who died, plus a toy astronaut

>>670405740
Actually, it means quite the opposite, it means you're constantly falling, its just you're traveling sideways fast enough that the curvature of the earth is falling away from you just as fast as you're falling down, creating a circular orbital shape!
>>670408062
>>670407589
IDK if my pops was full of shit but he said that a report was out there saying that they found water in a few of the crew's lungs meaning a couple died of drowning.
Fuck, imagine that. Being in a massive explosion, nearly being killed by fire and concussive forces....then drowning to death.
TBH, id take the risk if it meant getting the chance to chill in space.

Neptune is a pretty cool planet. He's just out there being an ice giant and doesn't afraid of anything.
When I was a boy, my Grandpa showed me how to appreciate these dark spaces of the galaxy like this:
If you light a candle, then shine a flashlight upon it against a wall, you will not see a shadow of the flame. All you will see is the shadow of the wick.
>>670414683
Ah, so looking to upgrade. The larger stuff is less common on the used market. Check out your local astronomy club, they tend to always be in the know or know someone who has a scope they're willing to part with. I don't live in the US myself, so I can't really recommend any specifics

http://www.snopes.com/horrors/gruesome/challenger.asp
> However, the "transcript" quoted above of the Challenger crew's final moments was not taken from a "secret tape" leaked from NASA; it originated with an article published in a February 1991 issue of Weekly World News, a tabloid famous for creating news stories out of whole cloth. There never was such a transcript, nor was the crew of the Challenger known to have been wearing personal recorders. Moreover, personal recorders would not have picked up the comments of crew members on different decks as the faked transcript would have us believe.
>NASA later conceded it was likely that at least three of the crew members aboard remained conscious after the explosion, and perhaps even throughout the few minutes it took for the crew

That was the conclusion ofDr. JosephKerwin, director of Life Sciences at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. His July 1986 report was based on an official examination of the debris of the crew compartment, (audio tapes) and other data recorded on the shuttle, the remains of the astronauts, and photographs of the capsule as it fell after the shuttle exploded.
