here's the thing about dabs.
dabs are absolutely the future of smoking. its way fucking cheaper. i can get a gram of high quality shatter for ~60$. a gram of dabs can last fucking forever, the way i do it.
i just take a tiny tiny baby hit off and smoke it in a meth pipe. i usually take just one hit, and try to get myself to a similar 'high level' as i would get with weed.
i've never actually taken a huge dab. i think its wasteful. the first time i took a dab though, it hit me like a fucking truck. i had a full body warmth that was reminiscent of an opiate.
dabs do smell though, they have a very particular smell, more forest-y than weed. its much lighter than weed, but it definitely smells and it smells like weed.
dabs def hurt your lungs, but in a different way. its hot vapor and you'll cough up shit. its vapor though, not smoke, so its milder.
get a torch lighter and a meth pipe. way easier than a dab rig.
