I love Trainspotting, but I picked up the book Filth (written by the same guy) and thee main character is fucking insufferable so far (although that's entirely intentional, it doesn't make it enjoyable to read). It doesn't have the same charm as Trainspotting. Glad they announced the sequel with the original cast, though.
