I've never really driven out by the wharf. That stretch on the motorway from like, the Abbotsford turnoff right through to Mosgiel is so nice! Good thing about that is if you know where to look, you can usually see if there's any cops around, or you get those good guys that flash their lights

I drive from Temuka to Ashburton for work quite a lot, the roads between the 2 are pretty decent for cruising. Think there are some big road works going on atm tho.

On the way back, a mint GT86 burned me on one of the passing lanes. I chased it, had to pass a truck and go into the oncoming lane to do it (traffic was pretty clear but it was still sketchy), was doing about 135 in the wee fucker. Stayed behind the 86 for the entire ride to Winchester, rain picked up to the worst I've ever driven in, still couldnt see with wipers going on fastest setting etc.

It was wet as fuck, and the 86 was being driven by some old dude with a young woman in the passenger seat, so I went hard as fuck in the passing lane straight out of Winchester. Was aquaplaning at 160 in the gayest looking hatchback you'll ever see, but the guy in the 86 bitched out and I got in front.

Chopped a $40k car in my mums hatch. Shit was cash.
